40th Fajr Film Festival announces documentary lineup

The 40th Fajr Film Festival announces lineup of eight documentaries to vie at the event.

The Fajr Film Festival (FFF) in Iran has announced the lineup of eight documentaries to vie at the 40th edition of the event.

The selection committee, comprised of Ahmad Zabeti-Jahromi, Mohammad Tahaminejad, Mohammad-Ali Farsi, Mohammad-Reza Abbasian, and Morteza Shabani, selected the following eight films to participate in the documentary competition section of the 40th FFF:

‘That Man Came by Bus’ produced and directed by Nima Mahdian

‘Dying’ directed by Hojjat Taheri and produced by Hojjat and Abdolkhaleq Taheri

‘My Brother’s Gun’ produced and directed by Kamran Jahedi

‘Parsi Elementary School’ produced and directed by Hassan Naqqashi

‘Soldier Number Zero’ produced and directed by Mohammad Salimi-Rad

‘Tonight’s Homework’ produced and directed by Ashkan Nejati and Mehran Nematollahi

‘No One is Waiting for You’ produced and directed by Mohsen Eslamzadeh

‘One of My Dreams’ produced and directed by Mohsen Hadi

Presided over by Masoud Naqqashzadeh, the 40th Fajr Film Festival will take place in Tehran on February 1-11, 2022 in two cultural and competitive sections.
